These chocolate brownies are my favorite thing to bake as they are quick to prep, super simple and absolutely delicious!
If I can bake them anyone can!
Cat’s Scrummy Chocolate Brownies
Preheat the oven to 180degrees Celsius, Gas 4
Put the broken chocolate/chunks into a bowl with the butter. Melt them in the microwave or over a hot saucepan of water, make sure the bowl doesn’t touch the water.
Add in the sugar to the melted mixture and mix well.
Add the eggs one at a time. The mixture should start to thicken.
Add the chocolate chips and nuts and mix well.
Add in the rice flour and mix until everything is well combined
Bake in the center of your oven for 40 minutes.
Brownies are always best slightly under cooked rather than overcooked. To see if they are cooked right pop a skewer or knife in the centre, if it comes off a bit sticky they are perfect! If they are runny keep cooking a bit longer, but if it comes out clean they are too done so take them out quick!
Now take them out and leave in the tin until cooled, then pop them on a cooling rack and cut into your preferred brownie size.
So I've said it makes 16 brownies but I won’t judge if the sizes aren't big enough for you hehe
